I am Sayma Khatibi, a passionate and dedicated legal professional with a comprehensive background in contract drafting, legal research, and corporate advising. I hold a B.A. LL.B degree from Pune University, graduating in 2023, and have completed several specialized diplomas, including advanced contract drafting, negotiation and dispute resolution, U.S. contract drafting, and paralegal studies. Currently, I am pursuing a diploma in international contract drafting, focusing on jurisdictions like Singapore, UAE, U.K, Australia, and Canada.

My professional journey began with a series of internships and roles that honed my skills in various aspects of law. I have drafted complex agreements, conducted thorough legal research, and provided strategic legal advice to clients across different industries and geographies. Some of my notable experiences include:

• Drafting an End User License Agreement (EULA) and a Software-as-a-Service (SAAS) Agreement for a California-based client.

• Creating a comprehensive IP License Agreement for a Dubai-based licensor and a Singapore-based licensee.

• Crafting a Delaware-compliant Limited Partnership Agreement with in-depth research on the Delaware Limited Partnership Act.

• Conducting research and analysis for a complex family estate dispute before the Orphan’s Court of Maryland.

• Advising a tech startup on the appropriate business structure for establishing in Delaware.

 

In addition to my legal expertise, I bring a wealth of experience in negotiation, legal advising, and content writing. My approach is client-centered, focusing on delivering tailored legal solutions that align with my clients' unique needs and goals.
